Bayelsa PDP not divided -Dickson

ayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson has said the Peoples Democratic Party in the state is not divided.
He described the PDP in the state as one
peaceful, united and focused family under the leadership of President Goodluck Jonathan and himself, whom he said were working together for the good of the state and the nation.
The Governor, who made this known in a statement on Sunday by his Chief Press Secretary, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, pointed out that the PDP was working collectively and rallying the needed support for Jonathan and the party to achieve maximum success in next year’s general elections.
He warned party faithful, especially those seeking elective positions and their supporters to be mindful of their utterances and actions.
He said unguarded utterances could be used by the opposition to paint a wrong or misleading position of the state of affairs in the state.
Dickson reaffirmed the state’s unflinching support for Jonathan’s re-election bid and called on the political class and the entire people of the state to rally round him at all times.
He also restated his resolve to carry on with the policies and programmes of his administration’s agenda despite the dwindling resources of the state occasioned by revenue shortfalls from the Federation Accounts.
He renewed his call on Bayelsans to remain supportive of the government, noting that the government meant well for them.
